Through hilly landscapes, the route leads from Raquira to Villa de Leyva. You will be enchanted by the white colonial-style houses with their courtyards and one of the most beautiful squares in South America. If you walk on the same cobblestones as people did in the 17th century, you will feel transported back in time. On a free day, you have the opportunity to explore the city and its surroundings better, as well as visit a wine-growing region that produces high-quality wine.
Barichara
Through an idyllic landscape, the stage leads to the impressive gorge of the Rio Pómeca. Then the bus takes you to Barichara, located on a plateau above the deep gorge of the Rio Suarez. It is the next highlight of the tour, following the traces of Colombia’s colonial past. For many visitors, it is the most beautiful village in the country.
